1.      Prepositions Song 2.      SlideShare Prepositions of Place Presentation 3.      Stuffed toy animal dog and a box 4.      Drawings that demonstrate prepositions by showing objects in positions 5.      Prepositions Worksheet 6.      Scholastic Grammar First Grade Workbook	-Students will name prepositions while singing the Prepositions Song. -Students will identify prepositions in pictures depicting objects in different positions. -Students will use prepositions in sentences.
Warm-up and Objective Discussion
Using a SlideShare presentation show Prepositions of Place (in micro lesson I use my phone to show, in real life I would use a big screen) and use a stuffed dog to demonstrate.  Ask students Where is dog?  Place a stuffed animal dog in relation to a box. Inform them they will listen to a song that will teach them: how to use prepositions.

Sing along to the Prepositions Song.  Learn the prepositions dance to accompany the song with TPR. Song Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyMrLQ4ZI-4 Have students memorize the prepositions vocabulary by repeating and drilling while dancing.

Use drawings to further help students understand prepositions in context.       Have students, in pairs or groups, create sentences by thinking of sentences to describe the pictures.

The student will create a comic strip using prepositions.
